Don't kill Phil

There is a push on by the GOP leadership to kill the filibuster, so that G.W.' s conservative judges get approved. The filibuster is the only protection we have against a Congress packed with a majority from one party and a president of the same party. I can only hope that the few sane GOP senators who have not committed to supporting this "nuclear option" continue to hold out against the pressure from the conservative base. They have been getting a lot of pushing by their conservative base, especially Ohio's Mike Dewine who also voted against the budget that included drilling in the National Wild Life Refuge.
